One game in black and white.......

Fair to say one of my best friends is

pretty focused in some of these shots!

It was her first State Tournament nod.

Mackie, you did an awesome job

and we are very proud of you!

I love the expressions you caught - you should "shoot" people more often, you have a real talent for it! These are very fun! Congrats to Mackie!

How it all started..........

My dad had an old camera that followed us on many family vacations. He shot all of his pictures in slide form. Looking back at some of his pictures, he really had a good eye for setting up the shot. Eventually the old camera died, but I remember sneaking into their bedroom and playing with it. I was so intrigued by all the buttons and what they did or was it the sound of the shutter?

A few years later, mom and dad helped me buy a Canon AE-1 when I was just out of high school and working for the local paper covering some area sporting events. I loved that camera and still have it to this day. It is a good reminder of where it all started for me.

Photography has taken quite a turn since the AE-1 days from film to digital proceess and all the new techniques that have followed since.

I love to see what Mother Nature has in store for me, capturing the image and making it come to life.

Photography allows one to express their " views" of the world without words. Given that, I hope you enjoy the "views", through my lens.
